Wordle is fantastic! You go to their site, and create a word cloud, or Wordle, from a piece of text, RSS feed, tag cloud–basically any text you want. The visuals are a lot of fun to play with. The words it uses in the Wordle are the most frequently appearing words. So Wordle gives you a snapshot of the text based on popular words occurring in that text.
Since it’s World AIDS Day, I decided to make two Wordles: one from the Twitter Feed for #worldaidsday:

The most recent statistic I heard is that AIDS kills 5 people every minute worldwide. It is truly unfortunate that that story does not dominate the headlines on any given day.
